Looking at your patio, it might be time to pick up a power washer. If you’ve never owned a power washer before, you’ve never enjoyed the awesome time-saving features of pressure washers when cleaning gutters, driveways, and cars. The WEN PW31 Gas Pressure Washer delivers an incredible amount of power and is water- and gas-efficient to boot. This tool doesn’t just make cleaning a stress-free task, but it makes it fun to do. Let’s see what the WEN PW31 has to offer.

208 CC 4-Stroke OHVI Engine
The WEN PW31 comes with a 4-stroke OHVI engine with delivers up to 3,100 PSI for handling all sorts of cleaning jobs. Even though this PSI-count isn’t as high as other home-use pressure washers available on the market, it’s still more than enough for cleaning driveways, patios, and cars. This gas-powered pressure washer uses only 2.5 GPM of water without sacrificing on its cleaning capabilities.
Axial Cam Pump
The pump is connected directly to the 208 CC OHVI Engine, allowing the axles to move at the same rate as the engine. The only drawback is that the lifespan of the axial cam pumps, in general, are considerably shorter than the more advanced triplex pumps that come with costly but higher-quality pressure washers.
That being said, you can still expect to get at least two years of cleaning done with the PW31 Gas Pressure Washer (protected by the manufacturer’s warranty).
One frequent complaint about the pump is that it leaks oil like crazy. After assembly and adding the required amounts of oil and gasoline, the pump began leaking. The leak can be attributed to shoddy manufacturing, not assembly though.
Five Quick-Connect Nozzles
This WEN pressure washer features “five quick-connect” which offers varying amounts of pressure. The 0° nozzle delivers the most aggressive stream of water, perfect for lifting the most challenging messes and spills from rough surfaces. The 15° nozzle blasts a wider but still extremely concentrated stream of water for making quick work of lifting caked-on grime.
The 25° nozzle shoots an even larger fan of water, delivering less pressure for blasting patios and benches clean. The 40° nozzle is the widest-angle jet of water with the least amount of pressure for cleaning windows and cars. The final nozzle is for blasting a constant stream of soap from the detergent canister. The onboard soap tank can be found in front of the engine near the front-facing stand.
Assembly
From the box, you’ll be provided with the parts that need to be attached and locked in place before adding gasoline, oil, and water to the engine. Although assembly can be annoying, it’s extremely easy to do. The manual included in the box gives clear instructions on how to assemble the unit perfectly.
However, there’s no hint of how many fluid-ounces of engine oil or how many gallons of gasoline need to be added to the engine. For the record, 17.6 fl. oz. of engine oil should be used, or until the oil is visible in the threads of the case hole.

WEN PW31: Bottom Line
The WEN PW31 3100 PSI Gas Pressure Washer is a reliable tool when you need to get a number of cleaning tasks done. The powerful 208 CC engine delivers up to 3,100 PSI and 2.5 GPM of water, and the quick-connect spray nozzles help control the aggressiveness of the water flow, making this tool perfect for cleaning delicate and tough surfaces.
The only problem that some customers have with this unit is frequent engine leaks which just add to the amount of cleaning you need to do. However, this problem is rare and covered by the manufacturer’s 2-year warranty.
